Thunderbirds Are Go | Official Trailer

Oh my gosh, I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS!!!

Here’s the global YouTube reveal of the Thunderbirds Are Go trailer, 24 hours before it’s aired on ITV and CITV. Thunderbirds Are Go is coming to CITV Spring 2015, and I can only hope to North America soon after. Computer animation is a great medium for the Thunderbirds — low fidelity on the people … so actually high fidelity compared to the original puppets, and high-fidelity on the vehicles, matching the high fidelity of the original practicals. I also love that they’re leveraging the “Thunderbirds Are Go” title from the Thunderbirds movie … versus just calling it “Thunderbirds“.

It’d be great to see a few new ToyBots vehicles in the Gerry Anderson/Thunderbirds vein — it would be cool to mate SkyDiver to Thunderbird 2, for example if Thunderbird 2 was the “Sky” in “SkyDiver”.

So excited to see this come back in a fresh and exciting format. Now … when do I get to see a re-boot of SeaLab 2020?
