Experiences Shared at SharePoint Conference 2014 in Vegas

WP_20140305_010Here we are after our presentation at the SharePoint Conference 2014 in Las Vegas last week. It was a great event for us for a couple reasons, First we were able to talk to customers and partners who are doing some very interesting work on Office 365 and SharePoint. It was also an opportunity to talk to customers and partners about the importance of experiences and how to move a workforce into the 21st century by improving productivity and automating business processes with the Windows 8.1 Apportal, and Apps for Office. We showcased the innovative work from our XFactory team that demonstrates the power of experiences.

The first demo was Sales Productivity Solution (SPS) — a  great example of a sales and marketing solution that integrates Dynamics, Windows, Office, Cloud, Mobile and Big Data all in one experience. And, it was great to be able to demo SPS on my phone!

The second solution to come from the XFactory team is our new Enterprise Productivity Solution (EPS), called Communications Manger solution. This was developed in partnership with our MOD team and with Provoke Solutions, leveraging the Nintex Workflow for Office 365 app. It’s an intuitive, easy-to-use, browser-based drag-and-drop workflow designer that seamlessly creates and distributes content to Twitter, Facebook, Yammer, LinkedIn, blogs and other social media channels.  We showed the actual process that Stephanie and I use to publish stories and content on internal and external channels. Special thanks to a great team who helped me bring this presentation to the SharePoint Conference 2014: Praveen Palepu, Kellie Piber, Steve Cappo, David Alexander, Mike Marchand, Leona Locke, Rebecca Anthony, Elise Kolp and Stephanie Worley, and to Steve Kosted for hosting a MEC experience for us in the exhibition hall.
