Dilbert Fashion Theory — Reduce Dressing Time to < 30 seconds

Over my 12 years in start-ups and 5 years in Microsoft Research I wore black jeans with a black space-themed/Star Wars t-shirt. When I moved to Microsoft U.S. 3 years ago, I upgraded my wardrobe to a black Lacoste t-shirt and black jeans, with the occasional requirement for a black jacket overlay or fancier pants + shoes … but always black. This has allowed me to reduce my wardrobe decision time each day to approximately 1.5 seconds, and my dressing time to something around 30 seconds. With the time I saved … I sort of wrote an app 🙂
