Building Brands on the Road to Sochi

Shaun White, arguably the greatest snowboarder in the history of the sport, is on his way to the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The two-time reigning Olympic halfpipe champion, has been preparing for the Sochi Olympics on a private halfpipe built for him by GoPro, in Perisher, Australia. “I need a rough draft of what to expect at the Sochi Olympics,” White said.

White wears a GoPro camera to capture and watch his every move, and to make corrections along the way. “The footage I’m getting on the cameras, I can look at later as a training tool to see what I did wrong in my run, and what I need to improve on. I can adjust on the spot, on the mountain,” said White.

Using the camera and GoPro app, White demonstrates his mind-blowing talents (a double cork 1440), as well as the significance of GoPro to his success.
