Today’s Gallery is the famous “Youngsmobiles” campaign that Burnett unveiled in 1968. The copy is literally unbelievable … check out this opening paragraph for “Separates the men from the boys”:

There are boy-type cars. And there are man-type cars. And Toronado is all man, all the way. Its styling is bold, brawny, and massively male.

Suddenly, I want a Toronado. I want to be “massively male”! The eco-irresponsible 455-cubic-inch “Rocket” V8 doesn’t sound too bad either…
